Enough of the Moslem world! I have picked a totally different read for September 21st at my house. This is a view of a culture so different from the ones we've been reading about that it should give you a laugh even if you don't like it much.
The Sweet Potato Queens First Big-Ass Novel: stuff we didn't actually do, but could have and may yet. The author is Jill Conner Browne. She writes about Mississippi.
