We discussed the book West with the Night and the author, Beryl Markham. Seems the overall opinion was positive. Comments about the lack of some of the author's life details in this book may prompt some of us to read her biography: The Lives of Beryl Markham, a biography by Errol Trzebinski (Norton, 1993)
Joan was absent but called to give us her book choice The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton for the February 11th meeting at her home.
Everyone was quite pleased to see Annelise looking so good!
